ARCHBISHOP, JAMES L. LOWERY PRESENTS ORDINATION CERTIFICATE

ORDINATION CREDENTIALS OFFICIALLY RECOGNIZE A MATURE MINISTRY MADE BY GOD!

Spiritual Life Concepts IS PROUD TO ISSUE MINISTERIAL CREDENTIALS TO MEN AND WOMEN OF GOD!

God is using all kinds of people to accomplish His work in this endtime!  He is putting the desire to serve Him in ministry in the hearts of men and women worldwide.  He is preparing a harvest of souls, and He is also preparing ministers to bring in and hold that harvest!
Spiritual Life Concepts issues credentials to men and women ministers in recognition of the calling God has placed on their life.  These credentials bring legitimacy to the work of the minister in the eyes of the societies of the world at a time in which there is such a need for trained, accountable, and dedicated representatives of Jesus Christ that are committed to integrity and excellence!  Recognition of the highest call of God is that of ordination, and becoming an ordained minister with any organization should be done carefully and prayerfully!

To become a minister with Spiritual Life Concepts you must:
1. Have made a commitment to Jesus Christ as the Lord of your life.

2. Have an identifiable call of God to serve in the ministry of Jesus Christ.

3. Review the information about Spiritual Life Concepts (What we believe-About Us) and agree that God has called to become a member of the organization.

Credentials

Our credentials officially recognize that God authorizes a minister's work.  There are several credentials offered by Spiritual Life Concepts, and the one a minister chooses depends on what God has called them to do.

Christian Worker - This credential is for persons actively involved in some aspect of ministry, usually under the supervision of a pastor.

Exhorter -This credential is the first step into a Called Ministry, and is granted to a person who feels called of God to work for Him in some specific field, such as Bible teacher, Chistian counselor, Evangelist or Pastor. This credential places a person under a Mentor Program for a period of no less than 12 months to learn about ministry and accountability.

Licensed Minister - Licensing is for persons actively involved in ministry who demonstrate clear evidence of a divine call on their life, and who are purposed to devote their time to preaching the gospel.  Often, God places a person in a position that does not require ordination.  This person would not be a pastor, or have need of performing weddings, funerals, baptisms, or serving communion. For those functions, ordination is required.  Often, ministers hold this credential while completing the SLC School of Ministry Exhaustive Study, which is required for ordination.

Ordained Minister - Qualifications for ordination are outlined in the New Testament Scriptures (I Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:7-9).  In addition, the applicant shall give evidence of maturity in character.  The applicant must have met all the requirements in making application and in having completed the prescribed program of study, SLC School of Ministry Exhaustive Study or its equivalent.

Ministers ordained with other organizations may receive a Spiritual Life Concepts (SLC)  ordination by surrendering the credentials from the other organization.  It should accompany their application to SLCSpiritual Life Concepts recognizes the ordination of ministers from other organizations when the minister is in good standing, and that organization has similar or higher educational / ordination requirements or standing as does SLC.

Ordination Services:   Credentials are presented at an Ordination Service held annually at the Worldwide Ministers Conference.

Minister Credential Policies:   Credentials will be officially conferred on an annual basis.  Each minister will be issued a wall certificate and a pocket card.  The credential is only in good standing when the minister possesses the annually issued pocket card. Ministers are only authorized to perform ministry functions while in good standing!

In order to acquire tax-exempt status, ministers should apply for a SLC Church / Ministry Charter.

Initial Application: An initial application is required for anyone wanting credentials from Spiritual Life Concepts.  Once the application is received with the application fee (see below) an information packet and registration form will be mailed to you.  When the registration is received by headquarters it will be reviewed, references verified, a final decision will be determined regarding the credentialing request.
